Compressor Valves find crucial use within a compressor. The
major job of these valves is to control excellently the pressure flow
in a reciprocating compressor cylinder. These valves are generally of
three types- plate valves, radiused disc valves and high-flow valves.
The compressor based valves act as spring-loaded non-return valves,
where gas is only being able to flow in a single direction.
Compressor Valves function as per pressure difference, if the
pressure beneath valve is higher in comparison to the pressure above
plus the spring force, then it opens. These valves are circular and
includes a wide series of rings or plates nicely sandwiched betwixt
cover and seat of valve.
